Three Rides Make You Scream With Excitement

Since its opening in 2001, USJ has continuously added new attractions to surprise and delight visitors. Super Nintendo World, opened in March 2021, is the world's first theme park zone dedicated to Nintendo characters, designed by the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto himself. As soon as you pass through the iconic green warp pipe, you are greeted by castles, rotating coins, floating blocks, and wandering turtles—iconic elements straight from the video games.

There are three major rides in the zone: “Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge “and “Yoshi’s Adventure”. In Mario Kart, players don AR glasses and team up in groups of four to race through the Mushroom Kingdom in a thrilling, augmented reality experience.

As for "Yoshi's Adventure" players ride on Yoshi's back through the park, with treasure hunting elements added during the journey. While the thrill level is far less than "Mario Kart", it is suitable for younger children, and it also offers a good view of the Mushroom Kingdom from a higher vantage point, allowing them to appreciate the park's design details.

For the newest ride “Mine Cart Madness” ,players hop into a mine cart and go for a thrilling ride through the jungle.Even leap across a collapsed track.

Interactive Mini-Games Where Players Compete Against Each Other

In addition to the rides, there are five interactive mini-games spread throughout the park that can be accessed with a Power-Up Band—which you can purchase at the park entrance . These wristbands sync with the official app, allowing you to earn points by smashing blocks or completing mini-games and compete with other players in the park. However, lines can be long, with wait times reaching up to 30 minutes per game, so make sure to plan your time accordingly if you also want to explore other USJ zones like Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, or Minions.

One crucial tip for visitors: to enter Super Nintendo World, you will need a special entry ticket. Make sure to download the official app before your visit and claim your entry pass when you arrive at the park. If you don’t want to wait in line for Mario Kart, generally the wait is over 90 minutes, you can also purchase an express pass (covering 4 or 7 attractions), which can save your significant time and does not require the special entry ticket.

For die-hard Nintendo fans who can't get enough, make sure to visit Nintendo official shop “Nintendo OSAKA”. This flagship store offers a wide selection of merchandise, including items from “The Legend of Zelda” and “Animal Crossing”, along with exclusive Mario-themed goods that are not available at the park.

On days when crowds are expected, such as Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, the shop will be using numbered tickets to allow entry.Tickets will be distributed at the "1F South Gate Plaza" before opening and in front of the store on the "13F" after opening.
