The outdoor attractions include Spinning Tea Cups, a Ferris Wheel, Bumper cars, and a Pirate Ship. The thrill level is low, so parents need not worry about scaring their children. Most attractions allow parents to join in, making it a fun experience for everyone. Among the most popular are "Battle King" and "Joyful Bumper Boats." Kids can control the direction and shoot in "Battle King," while in "Joyful Bumper Boats," they navigate inflatable boats in the water, wearing life jackets for safety.

Snoopy Play Center: Cosplay Different Professions

Spanning 14,000 square feet, Snoopy Play Center is a new addition to The Taipei Children's Amusement Park and is a haven for young children. It features ball pits, sandpits, and role-playing scenarios. Kids who love cooking can rush to Snoopy Market, which includes stalls for hamburgers, sushi, and pizza—great photo spots for parents. Although there is an additional fee to enter this area, it's quite reasonable at 690 NTD (about 179 HKD) for one adult and one child for three hours on weekdays.

On rainy days, families can visit the nearby Taipei Astronomical Museum and Taiwan Science Education Center. The Astronomical Museum consists of exhibition halls, dome theater, a 3D theater, and cosmic adventure , all requiring separate tickets. Don’t assume it’s just educational; the museum uses interactive games, shooting games, dance machines, and tour buses to take visitors through the solar system, allowing kids to learn about astronomy while having fun. First-time visitors are recommended to start at the Space Exploration level on the fourth floor to spark their children's interest before exploring the exhibition halls.

The Best Indoor Playground in Taipei: The Science Education Center

Describing the Science Education Center as shocking is not an exaggeration. Since its renovation in 2019, it has been praised as the best indoor playground in Taipei. Upon entering, visitors can look up at the aerial bridge connecting the 8th and 9th floors, made from steel, engineered wood, and glass—both eco-friendly and stunning. Walking across this winding bridge provides a feeling of walking in the air as you see the scenery below through the glass. For more thrills, try the "Sky Bike," where players ride a bicycle high above the center, testing principles of balance and tension.

The sky bridge connecting the 8th and 9th floors is made of steel, engineered wood, and glass, touted as the most beautiful sky bridge in Taipei.

Tickets are available for the permanent exhibition (floors 3 to 6), sky bike experience, and science DIY activities. The center also offers packages for educational, kitchen, and experimental courses. The upper floors are more suitable for older elementary and middle school students, while the lower floors cater to younger children, making it possible to spend an entire day at the Science Education Center.
