Located in Zhuolan Township, Miaoli County, FlowerHome Leisure Farm has been around for over 30 years. Its vibrant flower fields, castle guesthouse, natural essential oils, and tempting flower-themed cuisine attract many couples and families seeking fragrant experiences. Unexpectedly, this flowery world was created by a big man who, after studying " Euphorbia pulcherrima" was awarded the "Shennong Award." Chen Jinen, the "Shennong" of Miaoli, originally studied traditional Chinese medicine but chose not to deal with death. He moved from Taipei to the remote Zhuolan to cultivate the land and create this floral paradise. Believing that happiness is best shared, Chen opened his Eden, transforming the farm into a leisure destination for visitors to enjoy. Recently, he has passed the reins to the second generation, " Male God" Win, who is developing more floral dishes to win the hearts of girls. Chen encourages city dwellers to come to FlowerHome for a "peaceful mind and less worry."

A Garden that Changes with the Seasons: Hydrangeas for Easter

Upon arriving at the entrance of FlowerHome Farm, the sweet fragrance of flowers wafts through the air, refreshing the spirit and calming the mind. Throughout the year, FlowerHome grows different flowers: from January to March, there are enticing lavender blooms; from April to June, it's time for romantic hydrangeas; from July to October, Siam tulips (ginger lilies) compete for attention; and from November to December, the cheerful Euphorbia pulcherrima take center stage.

At FlowerHome Leisure Farm , visitors can admire lavender, hydrangeas, orchids, and Euphorbia pulcherrima, each showcasing its beauty and capturing the hearts of girls. Recently, hydrangeas have begun to bloom, with a dedicated hydrangea-themed area featuring red, pink, and blue varieties. Couples take photos among the blossoms, naturally deepening their affection. The farm also has a small train that has recently transformed into a "hydrangea train," decorated with hydrangeas as it travels through the garden. Both adults and children can enjoy a romantic ride for just 50 New Taiwan dollars (same price), limited to one person per car (weight limit of 100 kg).

Additionally, don’t miss the indoor orchid house, which houses various types of orchids and different photo opportunities. The mirror room features seasonal hydrangeas arranged to create stunning reflections, offering a breathtaking experience. Another highlight is the bouncy ball flower garden, filled with colorful bouncy grass in shades of green, red, and purple, making it an ideal spot for photos.

Passionate and Sweet Ice Cream

Be sure to visit the Rose Bar to sample afternoon tea delicacies designed by farm owner Win. Among the must-try items is the ice cream (180 NT dollars per cone), featuring two flavors: rich rose ice cream and rum cocoa ice cream. For those feeling indulgent, you can try both flavors in a combined flower ice cream. Win uses the aromatic rose variety cultivated on the farm to create the rose ice cream, adding dragon fruit for beautiful color. The other flavor uses Italian Pregel Black Chocolate. This delightful combination not only carries the fragrance of roses but also the rich, creamy essence of chocolate. Pair it with a rose croissant waffle and coffee to share with your loved one, creating a cozy moment.

Castle Homestay Overflowing with Happiness

The farm features a castle guesthouse built on a grassy slope, providing a comfortable environment. Upon entering the lobby, there are hanging chairs and arrangements of hydrangeas, allowing guests to relax while waiting to check in. The rooms are filled with hydrangeas, exuding delightful floral fragrances. The bathrooms offer hydrangea essential oil bubble baths, enveloping guests in floral aromas, making it feel like sleeping among flowers. In the morning, stepping out onto the grassy slope, guests can breathe in the fresh air, stroll to the small chapel for photos, and enjoy a rose-infused breakfast, feeling utterly blissful.

Next to the castle, there is an essential oil-themed pavilion. Start your visit with an essential oil foot bath to relax your muscles, then explore the various flower-extracted essential oils available. The wide array of products includes skincare items, essential oil foot baths, and the popular rosemary essential oil shampoo, making for a fulfilling visit.
