New Wave Taiwanese Cuisine: Chinois and Mipon

For avid travelers from Hong Kong, Taiwan is often seen as an incredibly convenient destination for free travel. Although there may be language barriers, the written language largely overlaps, removing a significant hurdle. However, despite this commonality, cultural differences do exist. Taiwanese visitors to Hong Kong may encounter unfamiliar Chinese characters, just as we may find ourselves puzzled by terms like “米苔目”、 “鼎邊趖” or “甜不辣”。
