Safari World Bangkok is located in Minburi, about an hour’s drive from the city center. As public buses are the only means of transport to reach the zoo, and there are no BTS or subway stations nearby, it’s recommended to hire a car or purchase a group tour package for convenience. The zoo spans over 480 acres, with 180 acres dedicated to the wildlife park where various animals are housed in open spaces, making it a major attraction. The remaining area features Marine World, which includes restaurants, a walrus exhibit, and a dolphin performance venue.

Thrilling Cage Truck Experience

Visitors can choose to drive their own vehicles into the wildlife park or pay for a ride on the park's cage truck, offering two completely different experiences! Entering with a personal vehicle allows you to stop and observe different animals at your leisure, guided by park staff. Riding the cage truck, however, lets you feed lions, tigers, black bears, and other predators, offering a thrilling and interactive experience. The sight of lions and tigers surrounding the cage truck waiting for food is truly unforgettable.

Once in the predator zone, you can see tigers roaming up very close. Visitors can choose to tour the park in their private cars or on the park's cage trucks, where lions will surround the truck waiting for food—a breathtaking sight.

Encountering Various Animals

Upon entering the wildlife park, you will first encounter herbivorous animals like water buffalo and sheep. After passing through an electric gate, you’ll enter the predator area, where lions, tigers, leopards, and rhinos lazily roam. This journey provides an excellent opportunity for children to learn about biodiversity and observe unique animal behaviors.

The wildlife zoo also houses rhinos which are rarely seen outside of Africa.

Taking Photos with Orangutans

There is another entrance to Marine World, which requires visitors to walk through the entire area.

Transitioning to Marine World offers a completely different experience. This zoo emphasizes interaction with animals, welcoming visitors with a flock of parrots at the entrance. Inside, there are also ponies and goats that greet guests, and children can feed them. Additionally, visitors can take photos with orangutans, baby tigers and owls. The most entertaining experience is undoubtedly taking pictures with the orangutans, as the zookeepers have taught them cute poses, adding a surprise element during interactions that brightens the atmosphere.

As you enter the feeding zone, you’ll find a space connecting to the wildlife park where visitors can stand on a platform and feed fresh food to these charming giraffes. This interactive experience is exciting and joyful, especially for children who can get up close to these gentle giants and enjoy the fun of interacting with them.
