The entire park is constructed based on the national map of Thailand, with several key attractions concentrated in the central region. Notably, there is the 'Great City Sanphet Royal Castle,' reconstructed based on extensive archaeological research and approved by King Rama IX of Thailand to be rebuilt at a 1:1 scale. It took ten years to complete, and during its inauguration, it was graced by the presence of the Queen of England and the Thai King. The castle is surrounded by a moat on the outside and houses numerous traditional Thai cultural artifacts and a pure gold Buddha image inside.

The 'Dusit Palace' within the Grand Palace of Bangkok has been reconstructed in the central area of the park at three-quarters of its original size, restored to its appearance before the reign of King Rama VI. The actual 'Dusit Palace' does not allow visitors, but this replica provides insights into the structure of the entire palace.

The Big Fish Shrine and the Hall of Arhats: Instagrammable Spots

In the southeastern part of the park, the essence of architectural displays is showcased. Many structures are created based on the park owner's conceptual designs. Noteworthy among these is the 'Big Fish Deity' inspired by ancient Thai mythology and the 'Hall of Arhats,' blending architectural styles from Thailand, Myanmar, and China, both becoming popular spots for visitors seeking Instagram-worthy pictures.

The mainland variety show 'Running Brothers' recently filmed in Thailand, choosing the Siam Ancient City as a backdrop. The 'theater' within the park was used for game segments, instantly making this historical site popular nationwide. Many visitors emulate the show's hosts by renting traditional Thai costumes within the park to capture memorable photos, creating a feeling of traveling back in time to Thailand's historical scenes.

Additionally, the park hosts cultural performances and exhibitions such as Muay Thai demonstrations, traditional Thai dances, music performances, and handicraft displays. There are also markets, floating markets, and villages representing northern Thailand, allowing visitors to experience the essence of traditional Thai culture. The park features lakes, gardens, and trees, providing a beautiful environment for leisurely strolls, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the beauty of nature.

The 'Bala Wa Buddha Image' was discovered by King Rama V when he was a prince during his royal tour, with the actual Buddha image now stored in a museum. The park includes many lakes and ancient buildings, perfect for taking photos.

Extensive Area Requires Convenient Transportation

Muang Boran, built with private funds by Thai entrepreneur Lek Viriyahphant, began construction in 1963 under the name 'Ancient City of 72 Provinces.' Due to continuous expansion, the number of Thai provinces represented increased, prompting a name change to the Siam Ancient City. The vast area of the park includes some historical buildings constructed to a 1:1 scale, resulting in attractions being spread out widely. To explore the park efficiently, it is recommended to rent bicycles, electric bicycles, two-seater golf carts, four-seater golf carts, or six-seater golf carts available within the park to easily visit different attractions. Visitors can also take the park's guided tour vehicles, although this option offers less flexibility. For those traveling by private car, they can apply for a vehicle pass for direct entry into the park, providing added convenience.

Getting to the Siam Ancient City is straightforward – simply take the BTS to Kheha Station (E23) and transfer to local minibus 36 to reach the destination. However, visitors should be mindful of sun protection and stay hydrated as the park is entirely outdoors, and touring under the intense sun requires precautions against heatstroke.

Visitors to the vast park are recommended to rent golf carts designed for tourists for transportation.
